Richard G. Rocha, a lifelong resident of Brush, Colorado, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He was 64 years old.

​Born on June 10, 1961, Richard was a man who truly valued his roots, spending his entire life in the Brush community he called home. A dedicated and tireless worker, he spent his professional life in construction, helping to build the world around him with his own two hands.

​When he wasn't working, Richard found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who loved the quiet of the water, and he had a deep passion for his bike, finding freedom on the open road.

​Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Christina. He is survived by his father, Jesse of Oklahoma; his brother, James of California; and his sisters, Denise of Oklahoma and Phyllis of Texas. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a hardworking man with a simple love for life's greatest pleasures.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Richard's honor on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at 10:00 AM at The Carroll Building, 418 Edison Street in Brush.
