Ricky Mark Green (Rick), 62, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Rick was born September 27 th , 1953 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Marcus McDonald Green and Iva Louise (Gilbert) Green. His family moved to Brush, Colorado when he was a kid. Rick attended Brush High School. Rick married his wife Patricia (Eastman) in 1978 and had two children- Sayrs and Joe. Rick and Patty raised their two children in Fort Morgan and continued to live there at the time of his death.

Rick was an extremely talented craftsman. He was self-taught and a true artist when it came to wood working. He specialized in custom carpentry and much of his work can be found around Fort Morgan in places like St. Charles Episcopal church, Heer Mortuary, the upper conference room at historic City Hall and many private homes. Recently, Rick taught himself the art of metal work. He became an expert welder a skilled metal artist. He impressed everyone that knew him with his amazing ability to create extraordinary, one of a kind, pieces of art. Rick loved to talk politics and was a true patriot. Fishing, telling jokes, and talking on the phone- often for hours at a time, were all things that Rick loved to do, but nothing compared to the happiness he found when he was with is family. Sayrs and Joe were Rick's pride and joy. He recently became a "papaw" to Lynnie May and Annie Jo, twin daughters of Joe and his wife Amy (Pabst) Green. Rick was heartbroken when Lynnie May passed away after only two short days of life. Annie Jo and her papaw had a special bond that will be eternal. Rick loved to make people laugh and cared deeply about his family. Rick was always ready with a funny joke to tell, or a witty come-back to someone's wrong political opinion. His fun loving personality will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Lynnie Mae Green was born October 3 rd , 2015 at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, Colorado to Joe and Amy (Pabst) Green. She passed away on October 5 th , 2015 in the arms of mommy surrounded by her daddy, and twin sister Annie Jo. Lynnie Mae's short time with us brought a lifetime of love and joy.

A memorial service for Rick and Lynnie Mae is being held Saturday, June 25 th 2016 at 3:00 in the afternoon at St. Charles Episcopal Church located at 505 E 8 th Ave. in Fort Morgan, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver ( RMHC of Denver ) in memory of Rick (or Papaw) and Lynnie Mae, or to honor Annie Jo. We miss Rick with all our hearts and know that he is taking are of our angel baby in heaven and watching over the family he leaves behind.
