Rita Lujan (59) Life long Ft. Morgan resident died Monday evening at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born May 7, 1947 in Ft. Morgan to Safey and Katie ( Garcia ) Abreo. She married Leroy Lujan August 21, 1968 in Sterling. She worked as an LPN for the Valley View Villa, the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center, Dr. Pat Thompson's clinic and for the Excel Corporation. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Leroy of Ft. Morgan, her children Libby, Fred and Stephanie, her brothers and sisters, Francis, Susan, Manuel, Angie, John, Georgia, Elaine, Kathy, Kim, James, Danny, and Judy, and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leroy, and Gerald, and her parents. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Sanctuary Downtown Campus 330 State St. Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations in her name C/O the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary.
