Robert Randall Creasman, 74, of Brush, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born October 10, 1938 in Asheville, North Carolina to Glenn and Juanita (Moody) Creasman. He married Judy A. Ostrander on January 20, 1967 in Memphis, Tennessee. He and Judy moved to Brush from Royal Palm Beach, Florida seven years ago. Robert was a member of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1959 until 1969. He was stationed in Rhodes, Greece supporting the Voice of America, and also served as a recruiter in Omaha, Nebraska, and Memphis, Tennessee, before being assigned to the Coast Guard Resident Inspector's Office at American Shipbuilding in Lorain, Ohio. He retired as Vice President of Transportation Services from SMF Energy of Fort Lauderdale and Houston in April of 2012. Robert was an automobile enthusiast and enjoyed traveling and camping with Judy in their RV. Survivors include his wife Judy of 46 years, his sister, Joyce Neal and husband Richard of Boaz, Alabama, and nieces Kim Neal and Stephanie Neal. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Heer Mortuary in Brush is in charge of the arrangements.
