Robert Charles Danielsen (Bob)

Born October 31, 1936 in Brush Colorado

Was called home peacefully on January 3, 2018 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan, Colorado

Robert was born in Brush Colorado to Chris Danielsen and Helen Stover. Siblings included Helen Wood (deceased), Mary Lou Danielsen, (deceased), Betty Jean Danielsen (California), Raymond Danielsen (Brush), and Donna Rock (deceased).

After graduation Robert joined the Marine Corp and served from 1951 thru 1963. He received the Good Metal of Conduct, and was assigned to the Tank Division with the rank of Lance Corporal. Upon returning to Brush, Robert married Joann (Jody) O'Daniels and raised 6 children, Sue Stroh, Roger Goff (deceased) Byron Goff (deceased), Mike (Lisa) Danielsen, Randy (Jackie) Danielsen, and Penny (Allan) Leonard.

Later in life Robert met the love of his life JoAnn Webb, where his family continued to expand, with additional children, Terri Ferguson, Becky Smith, Michele Stockham, Virgil Roberts, and Patricia Lowe. Robert was very proud of all his children grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. He was involved in sponsoring various activities throughout their school years. Most likely children attending local schools have seen his demonstration on Bee Keeping and Honey Bees.

Robert along with his brother Raymond owned and operated Danielsen Apiaries, as well as farmed on the family homestead, until his retirement in 2014.

Robert was active in the Morgan County Moose Lodge as Past Commander and Administrator, he was President of the Colorado Moose Association, and received the Pilgrim Degree of Merit on May 26, 2007 receiving his gold jacket which is considered a significant achievement.

Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on January 13, 2018, at All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer in Brush Colorado. Ending the service will be a Military honors offerd by the US Marine Corp, VFW / American Legion Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard. An additional recognition service will be held at the Morgan County Moose Lodge.
