Robert N. "BoBo" Dixon, 39, lifelong area resident, died Monday, July 31, 2017 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

He was born December 23, 1977 in Fort Morgan to Robert A. & Beatrice Dixon. Robert graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1997. He received his certificate in Automotive Service Technology from Morgan Community College that same year and later received his Associates of Applied Science degree in 2015.

Robert enjoyed working on cars and trucks, drag racing, tractor pulls, watching the Broncos, and hanging out with family. He loved helping out at the local college, teaching young kids how to work on cars, and he especially loved his dogs. Robert was a member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.

He is survived by his parents, Robert & Beatrice Dixon; two sisters, Melissa Shaver and her husband, Robert, and Rebecca Dixon; three nephews, Zachary Dixon, Wesley Shaver, and Joseph Shaver, five aunts, five uncles, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin & Dorothy Dixon, and Ernesto & Viola Ruiz; his brother, Martin Dixon, two aunts, six uncles, one cousin, and his dog, "Two Socks".

Visitation will be Monday, August 7th from 3 – 6 PM, with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
