Obituary

Robert Lee Frank, age 88, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 23rd, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born to Henry and Anna Frank, he was the youngest of seven siblings. Robert grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the land. He spent his life as a dedicated farmer and cattleman, proudly contributing to the agricultural community he loved. Over the years, he was recognized as a top 10 sugar beet grower and was actively involved in 4-H, supporting his children and countless youth in learning the values of responsibility, stewardship, and hard work.

Robert was a longtime member of the Fort Morgan Elks Club, where he built lasting friendships and found joy in serving his community. Outside of work, he cherished time spent outdoors-fishing, camping and boating with family and friends. He was known for his adventurous spirit, often seen running races with his grandchild or joining family for weekend outings.

At home, Robert and his beloved wife Nancy shared many tender moments together, including their Sunday morning tradition of dancing in the kitchen to Elvis Presley and oldies, with their children watching from the doorway. Their marriage was a shining example of love, laughter, and partnership.

Robert had a favorite saying he used throughout his life "immer etwas." German for "always something." It became a family phrase that captured his good, humored outlook on life.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy, and his daughter Kim Freauff. He is survived by his two children, son Tim Frank and wife Sue Frank and daughter Kelly Covelli and husband Reed Covelli; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

The Family would like to give a special thank you to the Dahms Talton Legacy Living Center and Hospice for the care Bob received.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Wiggins Community Church, 423 Dickson Street, followed by a luncheon. Burial services will follow the luncheon in Memory Gardens Cemetery at 601 West 8th Ave, Fort Morgan.
