Robert married Jeannie Bernhardt 57 years ago on January 4, 1959. They had known each other since they were seven years old. Robert graduated from Wiggins, Colorado in the class of 1957.

Robert loved to farm. He enjoyed his cattle, horses, and fixing up equipment and property. There weren't many things he couldn't do. Most of all, his family was the center of his life.

Survivors include his wife Jeannie of Wiggins; daughters, Debbie Nace of Wellington, Colorado, and Michelle Herman of Anton, Colorado; son Ben Frihauf of Durango, Colorado, brothers, Louis of Fort Morgan, Jack of Wiggins, Gary of Byers and Glen of Wiggins; 12 grandchildren; 2 step- grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Vera Frihauf; sisters, Katherine Elaine and Anita Reiber; son, Randy Frihauf; granddaughter, Sylvia Arias; father-in-law, Ted Bernhardt; mother-in-law, Irene Bernhardt; and brothers-in-law, Ted and Ken Bernhardt.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins. Services will conclude at the church.
