Robert L. "Bob" Konrade, 81, of Ft. Morgan, died, Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Colorado Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Bob was born June 8, 1932 in Lakewood, Colorado to George and Mary Konrade. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1955 until he was honorably discharged in1957. Bob married Helen Marie Boos on March 3, 1962 at St. John's Catholic Church in Longmont. He moved to this area 12 years ago from Denver. During his working years Bob was a heavy equipment operator for the Public Service Company. Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising pigeons. Survivors include, his wife Helen of Ft. Morgan, sons, Robert Konrade and his wife Michelle of Northglenn, Shawn Konrade and his wife Eva, of Denver, and Chris Konrade and his wife Juelly of Ft. Morgan, daughters, Lorie Payte of Westminster, and Stephanie Konrade of Northglenn, one sister, Frances McVay and her husband Leonard of Lakewood, one brother, Peter Konrade also of Lakewood, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by one brother, George Konrade, two sisters, Marie Boos and Esther Adams and his parents. Mass will be Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Helena's Catholic Church in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
