Robert L. Billings, 69, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, in Centennial, CO. He was born February 10, 1948, in Denver. When Bob was a small child, he was adopted by Bruce & Marie Billings.

On July 2, 1967, Bob married Jackie Witt in Fort Morgan. They were married for 35 years.

Bob was a cattle rancher NW of Fort Morgan.   He loved working on his ranch. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Morgan County #1856, BPOE #1143, and ABATE motorcycle group. He was a member and past president of the Morgan County Cattlemen's Association also. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Lauren.

Survivors include his son, Bob (Shannon) of Centennial, CO; and his granddaughter, Lauren, and a special friend, Dianne Hernandez.   He also is survived by a special nephew that he helped raise, Mike Watson of Lacrosse, WI and several other nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Margaret Ruppel and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 2, at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services conclude at the Mortuary. Family prefers memorial gifts to be given to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation ( www.npcf.us ) or American Diabetes Association ( www.diabetes.org ) or Fort Morgan Humane Society (www.ftmorganhumane.org).
