Robert L. Linker, 76, former Morgan County resident, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. He was born May 2, 1932 in Fort Morgan, to Jacob & Mollie Linker. While in school, the Linker family moved to Denver. On November 21, 1953, Robert married Betty Harshman in Fort Morgan. The Linker family has lived in Denver since that time. Prior to retirement, Robert worked for Western Electric for 32 years and then for R & R Instrumentation for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Denver; 1 son, Robert Jr. of Denver; 1 daughter, Valerie McIntyre of Wheaton, IL; 2 brothers, Tom Linker of Denver and Don Linker of Oregon; 3 sisters, Kathy Hass and Betty Pangle both of Brush, and Maryann Kramer of Denver; and 1 granddaughter. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 sister, and his parents. A memorial service will be held at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel, 222 Cameron Street, Brush, CO 80723, on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at 11:00 AM. The service will conclude at the mortuary.
