Robert "Bob" Raine Anderson, 78, died February 16, 2011 at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born in Cope, CO on November 24, 1932 to George and Mary (Queen) Anderson. He married Dorothy Louise Wiese in Sidney, NE on October 4, 1953. Bob served his country in the United States Army. He was a lineman for theRural Electric Association in Kansas and Colorado from 1950-1988. In February 1980 he won the Life Saving Award from the IREA in Sedalia, CO. He ranched in Kansas and Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and traveling. Survivors include, his wife Dorothy of Brush, 4 children Debbie Dougherty and husband Randy of Roxborough Park, CO, Rainell Goodale and husband Randy of Hays, KS, George Anderson and wife Madelyn of Aurora, CO, Margaret Brooks and husband George of Wesley Chapel, FL, 5 grandchildren and their spouses; Melissa Anderson and husband Scott of London, England, Crystal and Ariel Quesada Borbon of Nosara, Costa Rica, Jeremny Goodale of Hays, KS, Jerod and Jessica Goodale of San Angelo, TX, Barbara Ann and Tim Prince of Aurora, CO, 7 great grandchildren; Cassidy Raine Anderson, Torin Robert Anderson, Tai Alan Quesada Dougherty, Lua May Quesada Dougherty, Riley J. Goodale, Timothy Prince, Amelia Prince, 1 brother; Clarence and Cheryl Anderson of Wasilla, Alaska, 2 sisters; Arlena and Axel Stromquist of San Jose, CA, Georgia Jean Andrews of Ft. Lupton, CO, 2 aunts; Fern Ross of Fort Morgan, CO and Anna and Wes Weinricks of Coarsegold, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Memorial services will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer in Brush. Friends who wish may make memorials to the Alzheimer's or the Diabetes Associations.
