Roberta "Kay" Peterson, 85, of Brush, Colorado, formerly of Denver, Colorado died peacefully on April 8th, 2018 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Born May 11, 1932 in Elmdale, Kansas, she is predeceased by her parents, Arnold R. and Alys Z. (Bocook) Underwood of Lyons, Kansas.

Kay spent several years as a legal secretary, Town Clerk of Dillon, Colorado, business owner, and homemaker. She enjoyed camping, genealogy, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara (Roy) Johnston of Golden, Missouri; daughters, Nicki (Richard) Burns of Las Vegas, Nevada, Heather McCarthy of Denver, Colorado, Dannette Peterson of Silverthorne, Colorado and Stephanie Harman of Fort Morgan, Colorado. In addition to her four daughters, Kay is also survived by four granddaughters, two grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
