Rodney Kent Cross, 57, lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born February 3, 1953 in Ft. Morgan to Ronald and Betty (Unbehauen) Cross. Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanical work and his little dog Tuffy. Survivors include his parents, Ron and Betty Cross of Ft. Morgan, one son, Chad Cross of Commerce City, one daughter, Heather Cross of Pueblo, one sister, Ronda Dill of Ft. Morgan and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Andrew "Bud" Cross. Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 2:00 PM at the Sanctuary in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts in Rodney's name in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
