Ronald D. Gleason, 81, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.  He was born September 19, 1939, in Eckley, CO to Lloyd & Mary Gleason.

The Gleason family moved to the Snyder community.  Ron graduated from Snyder High School in 1958.  While growing up in Snyder, Ron spent a lot of time with the Baker family.  He worked at the Weisbart Cattle Feedlot.  He later began a career working as a collision repairman working at Buick Chevrolet Garage.  He later worked at the Clatworthy Company, a job he held for over 27 years.

He married Pat Peterson in 1957.  On August 9, 2006, he married Gladys Braun in Brush.  He was an active member of the All Saints Lutheran Church.  Ron enjoyed watching sporting events.  He was an avid supporter of the Brush Beetdiggers, the Denver Broncos and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Brush; 4 children, Tammie (Mike) Alexander of Woodrow; Greg (Ann) Gleason of Missouri, Brett (Amy) Gleason of Wisconsin, and Sean (Jill) Gleason of Brush; Gladys' 3 children, Gladys Timm of Colorado Springs, Becky Braun of Strasburg, CO, and Gene (Shirley) Braun of Hillrose;  Gladys & Ron have 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by 1 great grandson, Zayden, his siblings, and his parents.

A graveside service will be held at the Eckley, CO Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 8, 2021.
