Ronald Dean Anderson, 68, longtime area resident, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was born September 6, 1943 in Webb City, Oklahoma to Herman and Mary Edith (Smith) Anderson Jr. Ronald married Violetta "Vi" Japhet on May 18, 1961 in Eads, Colorado. Ronald was a member of the American Legion and was a department officer during part of his tenure there. He was also a Mason and Board Member of the Wiggins Telephone Association. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. Ronald was member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation a Native American tribe in Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Vi Anderson of Wiggins, two daughters, Kathy Ogden and husband Daniel of Howard, Colorado and Teresa Kirk and husband Jerry of Ft. Collins, his mother, Mary Edith Anderson of Cedar Vale, Kansas, grandchildren, Danne, Frank and Wayne Ogden, and Levi and Treavor Kirk and six brothers. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, four brothers and one sister. Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan.
