Ronald F. Bauer was born to Fredia and Jacob Bauer at Fort Morgan, CO on February 9, 1934.  He was recently admitted to the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush and died peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2021 in Brush, CO.

Ron graduated rom Fort Morgan High School in 1952 and attended and graduated from Colorado State University in 1956.  After serving two years in the US Army and being honorably discharged he began his work as a soil scientist for the US Forest Service.

Ron and Patty Hauptmann of Neligh, NE were married on September 1, 1962, in Lakewood, CO.  Following Ron's retirement from USDA they moved to the Arbor Apartments at the Eben Ezer Care Facility in Brush where Patty continues to reside.

Survivors include his wife Patty; and his sister  Edythe and her husband Harry Watt of Florida.

At Ron's request no services will be held.  Inurnment will be in the family gravesite in the Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan.  Memorial gifts may be given to any organization that assists with needy people or to any educational scholarship of your choice.
