Ronald G. Dietz suddenly passed at his home in Fort Morgan on December 30, 2020.  Ron was born on May 27, 1938 in Fort Collins to Fred and Pauline Dietz.

Ron proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves from 1961 through 1967.  Instead of continuing farming, Ron supported his family as a self-employed electrician in Minatare Nebraska.  Ron returned to Colorado in the early 80's and worked at several locations including R & R, owning a vending machine business, and retiring from County Express of Fort Morgan.

In retirement, he was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed traveling and going to auctions.

He was proceeded in death by his Father, Mother, and brothers, Bobby and Rich.  He leaves to morn his loss; his son, Doug, daughter-in-law, Anita; sister, Dorothy Heckman; brother, Bill; grandchildren, Casey, Ethan and Tesla, and many more family members and friends.

A graveside service for Ron will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Heer Mortuaries & Crematory in Fort Morgan.  The family will be receiving friends and family for food and fellowship at the Windsor American Legion immediately following the service.
