Ronald Weimer, 64, lifelong area resident, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Pathways Hospice in Loveland.

Ron was born January 1, 1953 in Fort Morgan to Gottferd and Willa (Southers) Weimer.

He graduated from Fort Morgan High School and worked for the REA as a boom truck operator for many years until failing health caused him to retire.

Ron enjoyed things like driving around town just to see what was going on. He also liked watching, and sometimes taking his niece and nephew to various sporting events, 4H, or helping out with family goings on.

Survivors include, his two brothers, Rhiney Weimer (Janice) of Fort Morgan, and Richard Weimer of Johnstown, nephew Shane Weimer (Lynsey) of Loveland, and niece, Tisha Weimer of Johnstown, great niece, and great nephew, Katherine and Nickolaus Weimer.

Ron was preceded in death by an infant brother, Randy, and his parents.

Graveside Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:30 am at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan.
