Ronald L. Whaley, 67, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. He was born February 25, 1950 in Brush to Levi & Gladys Whaley.

Ron graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1969. Prior to ill health forcing his retirement, Ron worked as a corrections officer.

Ron was a former member of the Hillrose – Snyder Fire Department, and served several years on the Snyder Sanitation Board. He loved watching sporting events, especially the Denver Broncos.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly of Snyder; 1 son, Matt of Snyder and 1 brother Bob of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by 2 children, his son, Shawn and his daughter Cimber Marie; and his parents.

At Ron's request, no formal service will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Heer Mortuary & Crematory
