Roy L. Rodriguez, Jr., 60, of Fort Morgan, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home.

He was born March 31, 1957 in Fort Morgan to Roy & Perfecta Rodriguez. He attended school in Fort Morgan. Junior worked as a cook for the railroad for a number of years and always kept himself busy doing handyman work and odd jobs. He was always one of the first to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

Junior loved music and especially enjoyed playing his guitar. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Family and friends where most important to Junior. He loved spending time with them.

Junior is survived by his mother, Perfecta Rodriguez of Fort Morgan; brothers and sisters, Ester Quezada of McCook, NE, Ricardo Rodriguez of Fort Morgan, Mary Sepulveda of Nebraska, Donna Martinez and Felix Rodriguez, both of Fort Morgan, Betty Aguirre of Guymon, OK, Tommy Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, and Lisa Rodriguez and Violanda Rodriguez, also of Fort Morgan. Junior is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his brother, Cruz R. Rodriguez; and his father, Roy Rodriguez.

Rosary & Vigil services will be Thursday, November 9th at 10:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
