RUBY F. LINKER, 97, longtime Fort Morgan resident, died Monday afteronon, December 8, 2008 at the Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan. She was born August 19, 1911 in Jerome, Idaho to Frank & Alva (Winn) Roberts. She married Herman Linker in Sterling on September 28, 1929. Mrs. Linker was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed yard work and her flowers. She was an avid Denver Bronco and Colorado Rockies Fan. Mrs. Linker is survived by her son, Don Linker of Fort Morgan; three daughters, Betty Young of Fort Morgan, LaVonne Wheat of Fairfield, IL, and Sandy Worsham of Nebo, NC; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Pearl Rees; two brothers, John Roberts and Clyde "Stub" Roberts; her grandson, Tom Amen; and her husband. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made in Mrs. Linker's name to the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
