Rudy DeHerrera, 56, life resident of the Brush community, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born June 11, 1958, in Brush to Felix & Frances DeHerrera. Rudy graduated from Brush High School in 1976. He worked as a contractor in the concrete construction business. Rudy enjoyed making dream catchers, listening to music, fishing, and being with his friends. Survivors include his Father, Felix DeHerrera of Brush; 2 sons, Tyler of Green Valley, CO, and Marcus of Alabama; 2 brothers, Frank (Philyis) DeHerrera of Brush and Rick of Phoenix, AZ; and 1 nephew, Kyle DeHerrera. Funeral services will be Thursday at 4:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Visitation will be 2 - 4 PM at the Heer Chapel. The service will conclude at the mortuary.
