Rueben Blum, 92, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born October 29, 1924 in Brush, to Elizabeth Blum.

Rueben worked as a roustabout for Kruger Oilfield Construction for 38 years. After he retired, he helped Fern Hall work cattle & sheep.

Rueben was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church, and the Moose Lodge of Morgan County. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos.

Survivors include his step brothers & sisters, Alex Geist, John Geist, Raymond Geist, Don Geist & Lydia Fulk all of Fort Morgan; Ruth Mock of Phoenix, AZ, Bonnie Geist & Barbara Geist both of Greeley; several nephews including Adam Blum from Thornton, CO; and a special friend, Fern Hall of Fort Morgan.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Geist, sister, Dorothy Klauser, and his parents
