Ruth V. Gugelman, 84, of Ft. Morgan, died Saturday at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan, CO. She was born January 17, 1924 on the family farm north of Snyder, CO to Charles and Florence (Blanchard) Johnson. Ruth graduated from the Brush High School in 1941. She married Robert Gugelman in December of 1963. They lived in Liberal Kansas for many years. After Roberts death Ruth moved to Ft. Morgan to be closer to her family. She loved writing letters, reading and bowling. She is survived by her children Robert D Gugelman of Loveland, Joe Gugelman of New Castle, Darla Starman of Loveland, and Bonnie Schneider of Wellington, her brother John A. Johnson of Ft. Morgan, her sisters Edna Bolinger of Brush, and Ruby Fink of Bonanza, OR., 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Paul Johnson and Carl Johnson, one sister Alta White, and her parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Church in Ft. Morgan, the service will conclude at the church.
