Ruth Wohlford, 86, longtime area resident, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado. She was born September 26, 1924 in Santa Monica, California to Gilbert and Mary (Pierson) Graff. Ruth married Roy Wohlford on February 24, 1958 in Yuma, Arizona. They moved out here from California in 1959. She was a member of the Christian Cowboys and the local Does Drove. Ruth enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, kntting and in her younger years she played the accordion. She also loved kids, liked to sing and liked to visit with her friends. Survivors include her husband Roy of Log Lane Village, son, Frank Wohlford of Ft. Morgan, foster sons, Kenny Dixon of Mobile, Alabama and Donny Dixon of Newman, California, daughters, Debra Wohlford of Denver, Pam Greene of Eaton, and Patti Wohlford of Ft. Morgan, two brothers, Dave Graff and Ted Graff both of Ft. Morgan, one sister, Thelma Zimmerman of Kirksville, Missouri, 16 grandchidren and 10 great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bill Wohlford a daughter, Ruthy Rinehart, grandson, Randy Greene, and a brother, Paul Graff. There will be a visitation on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 4 until 7 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made in Ruth's name in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
