RYAN JAMES THOMPSON, 27, of Fort Morgan/Log Lane, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 15, 2012. Visitation will be Saturday, July 28th from 11 AM until 3 PM with funeral services begining at 3 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel. Ryan was born in Greeley on May 12, 1985 to Stuart & Gerry (Rasmussen) Thompson. He graduated from Northridge High School in Greeley. Ryan was an accomplished welder. In the past he had worked for Cleary Buildings and Delta in Fort Morgan and Wisdom Industries in Merino. Ryan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed four wheeling, archery, and shooting. He also enjoyed a good game of basketball. He will be remembered by those that love him as a hard worker that loved his family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor, always keeping a positive outlook even in life's worst situations. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Shaver Thompson of Log Lane; his parents, Manuel & Bev Losino of Log Lane and Stuart & Christine Thompson of Kersey; his daughter, Hayile Thompson of North Carolina; his sons, Tyson James Thompson and Treyson Joel Bailey, both of Akron; and his step son, Conner McFarland of Fort Morgan. Ryan is also survived by his siblings, Josh Thompson and his wife A.J. of Laird, Jessie Thompson and Christina Jo Middleton, both of Fort Morgan, Katelynn Renee Thompson and Avery Lee Shaffer, both of Kersey, and Brandy Barber, McKayla Barber, and Chilaha Barber, all of Log Lane; his nephew, Gage Thompson of Fort Morgan; and his grandmother, Joyce Losino of Fort Morgan.
