Saadet "Liz" Williams, 74, of Fort Morgan, passed away Wednesday night at her home while surrounded by family.

Saadet moved to Greeley in 2021 while going through chemotherapy treatment for lung cancer. She was born March 28th, 1948, in Adana, Turkey. After traveling through Europe, she moved with her daughter Sheila, to the United States. After a short time living in Florida, they moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado where she worked at Excel/Cargill Meat solutions, holding various job titles for over 27 years until she retired in the fall of 2012.

Liz was an ardent fan of gardening, cooking, and crocheting. Liz became a US Citizen in September 2008 and was extremely proud of this accomplishment. She invested much of her time in her faith and spiritual journey. She attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed and cherished her time with her close family, and friends of which she had a countless number. Her life, energy, and love that was given to and felt by all who were graced by it will be earnestly missed.

She was preceded in death by her late husband David L. Littlejohn. She is survived by her daughter Sheila Williams, her 4 grandchildren Devin Weilnau, Powers Weilnau, Madison Williams, and Wyatt Eklund, and 2 great-grandchildren, Mica Weilnau and Nyx Weilnau.

A funeral service will be held in her remembrance Saturday at 11:00 AM at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. Cremation will precede the service.
