Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Sadie Lynn McCourt, age 37, announces her passing.

Sadie was born November 12th,1988 in Denver, CO. She was the 4th of 4 daughters born to James McCourt and Cheri Wicen. She grew up in Brush, CO and besides a brief time in Montana spent the majority of her life in Morgan County until her passing, February 3rd, 2026.

Despite life's struggles, Sadie stayed resilient and took pleasure in administrative work holding various jobs in the field.  In May of 2025 she graduated from Morgan Community College with an associate's degree as an Administrative Assistant. She worked diligently to achieve this goal and was very proud of the accomplishment.

She was especially close with her father and found peace and solace in his presence and cherished their time spent together. She also had other family and dear friends who brought her love, support, and company that kept her spirits up. This, along with her cat Cleopatra, helped a beautiful young lady make hard days bearable until her last.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, James and Lynn McCourt of Ft. Morgan; birth mother, Cheri Wicen of Columbia Falls, MT; sister and brother-in-law, Shauna and Jason Commander and nephews, Joe and James of San Antonio, TX; sister, Fawn McCourt and nephews, Trevor and Ayden of Columbia Falls, MT; grandfather and grandmother, Donald and Purnee McCourt of Denver and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Aspen McCourt of Kalispell, Montana.

No words can say just how greatly she will be missed by all.
