Sallye J. Tadolini, 73, passed away Thursday evening, May 27, 2010, at the inpatient hospice unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born December 8, 1936, in Roswell, NM, to Lyman & Marian Strickland. Salley married Archie Tadolini on October 15, 1958, in Carrizozo, NM. Shortly after their marriage, the Tadolini family moved to Colorado, living in Logan County for several years. In 1970 Tadolini's moved to Morgan County. Sallye worked for many years at Morgan County Department of Human Services and later NECALG. Sallye was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, playing her guitar and singing, working in her yard and flower garden, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Archie, of Fort Morgan; 3 children, Don of Sterling, Lisa McCorkle of Greeley, and Shawn of Brush; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Joan, and Alan; 2 brothers, Jim, and Charlie, and her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at 10:30 AM at the St. Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan on Monday from 5 – 7 with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 PM. Friends who wish may make memorial masses to St. Helena Catholic Church or to the charity of the donors choosing.
