Sandy L. Duncan, 61, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at her home in Bennett. Sandy was born November 2, 1950 in Brush to William and Doris McCracken. She was a member of the Colorado Community Church in Aurora. Sandy had a love of life and lived it fully. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, camping, boating, gardening, skiing, on both water and snow, and the outdoors. She loved her family and they were very important to her, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include, two sons, Jon J. Duncan of Bennett, and Michael Todd Duncan and his wife Melissa of Aurora, one sister, Cheri McCracken-Kinnison and husband Dan of Colorado Springs, two brothers, David Wayne McCracken and his wife Bonnie of Ft. Morgan, and Brian Keith McCracken and his wife Laura also of Ft. Morgan, and two grandchildren, Hannah Marie Duncan, and Hunter Michael Duncan, and by her parents, William and Doris McCracken of Ft. Morgan, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by brothers, Rusty, Dennis and Rick McCracken. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 4 until 8 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Morgan Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
