SANDRA DEE ROSSMAN, 48, of Fort Morgan, died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born January 25, 1961 in Fort Morgan to Harry & Marian Rossman. She grew up in Wiggins and graduated from Wiggins High School with the class of 1979. While living in Wiggins, Sandy was active in the Wiggins Community Church where she was a youth group member, played piano, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School. She belonged to many activities in school where she especially enjoyed cheerleading. She was a 10 year member of the Sunshine 4-H Club and was Morgan County Junior Fair Queen in 1979. After graduation, Sandy attended Aims Community College and began working as a pharmacy technician at the Greeley Medical Clinic. Sandy married Steve Bornmann in 1981 and became the mother of two children. She and her two children later moved back to the Fort Morgan area. Even when her health was declining, Sandy maintained a beautiful smile, gracious attitude, and faith in God. She was an active member of The Sanctuary and she loved her church family. Survivors include her daughter and husband, Stephanie & Jewel Eskew of Weldona; her parents, Delbert & Marian Forbes of Fort Morgan; her brother, Larry Rossman of Eaton; and her sister, Debra Beauprez of Wheatland, WY. Sandy is also survived by her stepsister, Jeanelle Talbott of Iliff; her stepbrothers, Arlan, Verle, and Maynard Forbes, all of Fort Morgan; and her grandmother, Mary Bernhardt of Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Bornmann; her father, Harry Rossman; and her grandfather, George Bernhardt. Visitation will be Monday, January 11th from 4 – 6 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 12th at 11:00 AM at The Sanctuary, 330 State Street in Fort Morgan with Pastor Ben Baughman and Reverend Nelson Chamberlain officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Sandy's name and sent to the Heer & Dahl Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701.
