Sandra Kay Wagner, 68, passed away December 16, 2009, at the Sterling Living Center in Sterling, CO. She was born October 3, 1941, in Monte Vista, CO, to Louis & Louise (Huffman) Barnts, Sterling natives. Sandra grew up and lived in Sterling for a large part of her life. Prior to retirement, Sandra worked as a surgical registered nurse in Dallas, Denver and the Boulder area for many years. She was a loving companion of the late Elmer Wagner of Sterling for the past 25 years. Sandra enjoyed cooking, gardening, and caring for her beloved dog, Shi Shi. Survivors include her sons, Troy, his wife, Nicole and their foster children, Aryana, Destiny, and Allison, Bradshaw of Brush; Todd, and his wife, Tracey, Bradshaw of Boulder; , 1 sister, Janet Jensen of Sterling, CO, 1 brother, Bob Barnts, and his wife, Joyce, of Redmond, WA, seven nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Louise Roth. A private family memorial will be held.
