Obituary

Sara Baquera De Corona, 74, of Fort Morgan, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

She was born August 27, 1946 in Mexico to Jose De La Luz Baquera and Guadalupe Mendoza Baquera. Sara and her husband, Ricardo have lived in Fort Morgan for the last 25 years.

Sara was a member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. She was a hardworking homemaker and she always enjoyed the company of her friends and family; especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and collecting knickknacks.

She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Corona of Fort Morgan; her sons, Jesus Ramiro Corona and wife, Estella of Fort Morgan and Rey David Corona and wife, Thersa of Burlington; grandchildren, Rachael, Rey David Jr., Marisol, Mireya, Tara, Preston, JC, James, Janett, Jason, and Sonya, and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Guadalupe, Juana, Lucelva, Carmen, Jose Ramon, Jose De La Luz, Desiderio, and Salvador.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sibling, Antonia, Jesus Manuel, and Esperanza.

Because of current COVID-19 restrictions, visitation and Rosary Vigil services will be limited to family only.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 1 st at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan (social distancing and precautions observed with limited seating).

Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
