Sarah A. Atwood, 70, former Brush area resident, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. She was born January 13, 1941, in Arriba, CO, to Edgar & Alice Atwood. Sarah lived in the Brush area for many years and in the early 1990's moved with her family to Benkelman, NE. Survivors include 3 brothers, George & Dale both of Benkelman; and Thomas of Boyertown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
