Sarah Jane (Sally) Giffin, 68, of Fort Morgan passed away in her home on Sunday March 30, 2014. She was born in Denver, CO on August 13, 1945, to the late Thomas and Addie Fleming. Sally graduated from Arvada High School in 1963 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 1967. She married James Giffin on April 18, 1970. Sally chose a career with Kmart which lasted 32 years. She was also an active member of the Fort Morgan Church of Christ for many years. Sally was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who was very passionate about spending time with her family. She had several hobbies included reading, embroidery, genealogy, and scrapbooking. She is survived by her husband James of Fort Morgan; mother-in-law Pauline Benson of Brush; son and daughter-in-law Burl and Angel Giffin of Brush; granddaughter Jacquelyn Giffin and her fiancé Aaron Lawson of Greeley; and grandson David Giffin of Brush. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Judy and Ken Amidon of Arvada and another sister Mary Jo Stark of Arvada, along with several nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday April 7th at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan, with inurnment following at Serenity Falls Columbarium. There will be a coffee and dessert reception immediately following at the Fort Morgan Church of Christ at 231 S. Sherman.
