Shane Curtis Blake, 37, of Akron, CO, died Sunday, March 21, 2021, of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle rollover.  He was born June 28, 1983, in Brush to Rodney Blake & Patty Lake.

Shane married Andrea Young on September 19, 2017, in Destin, FL. He always had a fishing pole on standby incase his spontaneous adventures led him to water. Above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger. Shane was a spirited loving man that left an impact on all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Blake; father-in-law, Billy Wells; Aunts, Nancy Reidsema; Sharilyn Blake, Uncle Mark Wagers and cousin, Cory Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Blake, her daughter, Kelsea Ingle; his Mother, Patty (Ken) Lefever; his Father Rodney (Annette) Blake; 1 brother, Chase Blake; 2 step-brothers Brian Sampson, & Braden Sampson, 1 step-sister Brandi Wagner; mother-in-law, Donna Wells; 2 sisters-in-laws, Ashley Young & Amber Fife. His grandparents Jack (Gramps) & Saundra (Mami) Lake & his grandmother, Twyla Blake. He will also be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, "brothers", friends, and co-workers.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at the Akron Cemetery gazebo on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Those attending may want to bring a chair. The service will conclude there.
