Shannon Dale Elliott, 59 passed away June 20, 2023, in Denver,CO. Shannon was born December 15, 1962, to William Carter and Rhoda Carter (Elliott) in Mr. Carmel, Illinois.  He attended school and graduated from Grayville High school in Grayville, Illinois.

Shannon adored his kids and enjoyed traveling. Trimming trees and spending time with his family and friends were his passions. Shannon also loved to tinker in the garage and we was a phenomenal handyman.

Shannon was preceded in death by his father, William Carter; his Irish twin sister, Dawn Kudsi; and two nephews, Aaron Elliott and Daniel Elliott.

He is survived by his mother, Rhoda Carter of Wiggins; sisters, Marsha (Gene) Westhoff of Fort Morgan; Tamara (Garry) Barkdoll of Wiggins, Lindsey (Danny) Morris of Albion, Illinois, Amy (Kevin) Cyr of Brush; brothers, LeeAllen (Cindy) Elliott of Grayville, Illinois and Brian Elliott of Brush; three children, Shailynne Greathouse of Salem, Missouri, LeeAllen, and Timothy of Mankato, Minnesota; his partner in life, Flora Funke of Fort Morgan; and his seven grandchildren of Salem, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Wiggins Community Church on July 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM in Wiggins, CO.
