Sharon Kay Blackstun, passed away at her home in Log Lane Village, CO at the age of 77. She was born October 31, 1944 to Earl and Goldie Waterman.

Sharon attended schools in Sterling, CO and went to Fort Morgan High School, where she graduated from in 1963.

Sharon was a huge fan of the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos; she would never miss a game. She also loved being at the lake with her husband, Robert, kids, and grandkids. She loved to cook and made the best fried chicken and homemade noodles. She had a huge heart and she would do anything for anyone. She also loved going to the senior center and playing bingo with all of her friends. Sharon worked for the Morgan County School District RE-3 fir 31 ½ years before she retired. She worked at the old Baker School and from there she finished at Pioneer School. She loved going to her grandkids' basketball and football games.

Sharon is survived by her brother, Terry Waterman; her two children, Robert "Lynne" Blackstun of Fort Morgan; her daughter, Deborah Pace of Log Lane Village; and six grandchildren, Joseph Pace Jr., Jerry Church III, James Blackstun, Stephen Walker, Bryant Walker, and Shelby Pace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ivan Blackstun; her parents, Earl and Goldie Waterman; her in-laws, James Blackstun and Berniece Clark (Wayne Clark); her daughter, Laurie Blackstun Walker; her sister, Shirley Thim; and her brother, Dennis Waterman.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 9 ^th , 2022 from 3-5 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM.
