SHAWN PATRICK WHALEY, 21, lifelong resident of Snyder, died Thursday morning, Feb. 1, 2007. He was born August 28, 1985 in Denver, CO to Ronald & Beverly (Dobner) Whaley. He attended Brush schools until the 10th grade. Shawn enjoyed fishing, going for walks, and being around people. He was also an avid Denver Bronco fan. He is survived by his parents, Ron & Bev Whaley of Snyder; and one brother, Matt Whaley of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russel & Treasa Dobner and his paternal grandparents, Levi & Gladys Whaley. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Feb. 7th at 2:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Services will conclude at the chapel. There has been cremation.
