Sheryl Lee Hernandez, 55, former Brush resident, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at the OHSU Hospital in Portland, OR. She was born September 28, 1962, in San Diego, CA to LeRoy & Rose Brum Sr.

Sheryl graduated from Platte Valley High School in Kersey, CO in 1981. She attended, and graduated from Aims Community College in Greeley. She worked as a para-legal clerk.

Sheryl enjoyed reading, especially reading romance novels. She will be remembered for the plants that she enjoyed growing in her home.

Survivors include her husband, Pablo of Ocean Park, WA; 7 children, Josh Brum of Brush, CO; Derrick Castaneda, Cristina Morones and Leticia Cervantes all of Kearney, NE; Danielle Brum of Winlock, WA; Lora Brum of Astoria, OR, and Nicole Cervantes of Ocean Park, WA; 2 sisters, Kathy Wilson and Laura Brum both of Fort Morgan; 1 brother, LeRoy Brum Jr. of Gilcrest, CO; and 17 grandchildren, Jossue, Josh Jr., Aiden, Saphira, Trystan, Harmony, Melody, Symphony, Luke, Geevana, Tyler, Justys, Paetyn, Paizley, Donald Jr., Jaelynn, and Bella.

A service of remembrance will be held Monday, June 18, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. The service will conclude at the mortuary.
