Shirley Ann Adams, 69, a resident of the Brush community for over 60 years, passed away Monday evening at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. She was born September 25, 1937, in Marion, OH, to Lowell & Betty Chard. Shirley's life revolved around her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Rick Adams of Milliken, CO, Cheryl DeVito of Erie, CO, Rob Adams of Garden City, KS, and Cindy Dillehay of Platteville, CO; 3 brothers, Keith Chard, Earl Chard and Richard Chard all of Brush; 4 sisters, Nancy Clark and Carol Armstrong both of Greeley, Saundra Lake and Bonnie Castrup both of Brush; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
