Shirley M. Bentley, 75, former Fort Morgan resident, passed away in Wheat Ridge, CO.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan.

She was born March 16, 1945, in Fort Morgan to Henry & Molly Baumgartner. Shirley was one of 8 children, having brothers Herbert, Robert, William, Leroy, Edward, Harold and Richard.

Shirley graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1963.  She attended Colorado State University prior to working as a land Manager in the Oil & Gas Exploration business. Shirley loved to travel and worked for Continental Airlines for several years. After retirement, Shirley worked with the election board. She was a member of the Augustina Lutheran Church in Denver.

Shirley is survived by her 2 sons: Anthony, with his wife Clementine, and James, with his wife Laurie; brother: Robert Baumgartner, with his wife Sharon; and 2 grandchildren: Andrew and Samantha.
