Shirley G. Pape, 75, lifelong Ft. Morgan resident, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born August 18, 1935 in Ft. Morgan to Carl and Mary (Fisher) Owl. She married David J. Pape on February 27, 1954 Raton, New Mexico. Shirley's family and friends were very important to her. She enjoyed getting together with her family for dinners and barbecues and especially loved her grandchildren. She also belonged to a close group of friends who for over thirty years have been meeting regularly for lunch. Survivors include, one daughter, Linda Carlson of Ft. Morgan, three sons, Roger Pape of Ft. Morgan, Terry Pape of Bennett and Jay Pape of Windsor, two sisters, Florence Scott of Ft. Morgan and Kathy Owl, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Carol Odell and Louise Randolph and three brothers, Raymond, Richard and Rueben Owl. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 10 until 2 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11:00 am at Serenity Falls Columbarium in Ft. Morgan. Memorial Gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society at 2255 S. Oneida, Denver,
