Obituary

Spencer Lind Gill, 32, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, passed away on August 29, 2026.

Born on October 4,1993 in Greeley, Colorado, soon after Spencer’s family moved to La Salle, Colorado. Growing up in La Salle, Spencer was involved in many types of youth sports, but baseball was his passion. He played soccer and baseball for Valley High School in Gilcrest, where he lettered in both before graduating in 2012. Spencer later attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling and Aims Community College in Greeley.

Spencer was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting as well as fishing and golfing. Scouting and preparing for hunts and sharing his knowledge with new or lessor experienced hunters was one of his favorite things to do. He also enjoyed reading, gaming, listening to music and watching Westerns and John Wayne movies. A beloved son, brother, husband and father, Spencer will be greatly missed.

Spencer was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Paul and Shirley Lind and his Paternal Grandmother Gail Henry.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Kaitlyn Gill and their son, Benjamin Roy Gill, of Fort Morgan; his parents, Robert and Lisa Gill, of La Salle, CO; his sister, Samantha Clauser and her husband, John Clauser; niece, Cassidy Clauser of Belle Fourche, SD; his grandfather, Roy Gill and his wife, Gywn Gill of Scottsdale, AZ; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan, Colorado with a funeral reception to follow at Life Fellowship (17720 County Road 20, Fort Morgan, CO).
