Stanley Hugh Banks passed away on May 13th at Life Care Center in Greeley. He  was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, July 10, 1932 to Benoni Clark and Emma Banks.

Stanley loved fishing, watching old western movies, watching his beloved Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers. He especially loved watching his son and grandson race.

Stanley worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 30 plus years.

Stanley is survived by 5 children, David (Lu) Banks, Alfred Banks, Dona Murphy, Mike Banks and Dolores Banks; 6 grandchildren, D.J and wife, Jamie, Jess and husband, Kenny, Joel, Aspen and husband, Guero, Stacy and husband, Josh, and Cassandra; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Phoenix, Taysha, Leila, Scarlett, Keagen, Briston, Brooklen, Tristen, Baylei, and great-great grandchild, Kash.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Banks; father, Benoni Clark; daughter, Susan Banks; son, Jeff Banks, and his daughter in law, Virginia Banks.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24th at 10:00 am at Harvest Baptist Church of Ovid, 222 Main St. Ovid, CO, with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ovid Cemetery.
