Steven M. Krueger, 57, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening at his home near Hillrose. He was born April 8, 1955 in Brush to Eleanor & Martin Krueger. Steve graduated from Brush High School in 1973. At the time of his death he was a sheet metal contractor. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Worker's Union #9. He enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycle. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved going to the lake with his family and hunting. Survivors include his 2 daughters, Angela Krueger, and her husband, Wisler of Evans, CO, and Apryl Hikida, and her husband Matt and granddaughters, Kalani and Aspyn of Greeley; step-sons, Daniel and Levi Wells; brother, Stan Krueger and his wife, Carla, of Hillrose; nephew, Nathan Krueger and wife, Kim, and niece, Katie Lorenzini and husband, Chad; former wives, Mrs. David (Patsy) Finkenbinder of Greeley and Vernetta Washburn of Colorado Springs. He is survived by other family and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush on Tuesday from 3 – 5 PM.
