We are sad to announce the passing of Steve D. Morgan, at the youthful age of 70.  Steve passed away January 14th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.  Steve was born February 6th, 1952 in Russell, Kansas.  He moved to the Fort Morgan area in the early 70's, where he worked in the oil fields, and then Great Western Sugar for 30+ years.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor.  He always shared his stash of candy and snacks, and always had his Pepsi.  He was an avid baker, and loved fishing, hunting and camping.

He was a dedicated, loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his son, Stevie Dean Jr. and is survived by his wife, Celia Morgan; son, Eric; and granddaughters, Tristan and Lilyana.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25 ^th from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan,  followed by a procession to Memory Gardens Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
