STEVE C. SWANSON of Fort Morgan, CO, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2007 after a courageous four year battle with cancer. He was born May 24, 1948 in Rawlins, Wyoming to Reynold & Eileen Swanson. Steve graduated from Rawlins High School in 1966. He graduated from from Chadron State College in 1971 with a degree in Business. Steve loved fishing, University of Wyoming athletics, and his cabin in Wyoming. He was a sports fanatic. Steve was a member of the Rawlins Elks Club for thirty years and his friends are too numerous to count. He cherished all of them. Steve is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Joan, and his beloved daughter Cassi, both of Fort Morgan. He is also survived by his brother Gary of Parker, CO, and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold & Eileen Swanson of Rawlins, WY. In lieu of flowers, donation's may be made to the American Cancer Society in Steve's memory. Memorial services will be Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel. There has been cremation.
