Steven G. Heidrick, 67, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Denver. He was born April 3, 1951, in Penokee, KS, to Jack & Helen Heidrick.

On July 13, 1973, Steven married Charlotte Lapp in Fort Morgan. Together, they worked in the maintenance department at the US Postal Service complex in Commerce City, and he also worked at Rocky Flats.

Steven especially enjoyed playing chess. He liked to read, travel and eat. When health permitted, he attended the Christ Congregational Church.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of Brush and one brother, Jack of Greeley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Danielle Heidrick, and his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the church. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory is entrusted with funeral and cremation arrangements.
